Dios friggin mio! I meant sit, as in injured. Making Joe a healthy scratch would be the dumbest thing in the history of civilization.

Punishing Jumbo sends the wrong message to him. I think this is a bad idea. Perhaps RW should dress 12 forwards like a normal team does and that would keep the other guys from leaning on Joe as he double shifts all game...

Maybe it's all the crack I smoked last night, but I think if Jumbo sits it's not the worst thing in the world. Other guys will be *forced* to take the reins. Sure, maybe we'll tank in the standings. But as you said, this team ain't winning the Cup. Getting some other guys to step up would be a good first step towards that goal.

Yep.

I think it is a bitter pill to swallow, but we all need to face the fact that these Sharks will not win the Cup. Not even if they put a 15 game winning streak together starting tomorrow. It would take one bad loss, or even one bad goal, to bring them back to where they are now. They lose confidence too easily and fall apart nearly every time the game is on the line. And the shootout? Why bother? I remember at the Teal & White game how we all laughed at the lack of effort the Sharks put in to the SO. Looks like they were actually playing game speed that night!

Want a cold chill, something to keep you up at night?.... what if, God forbid, Jumbo needs to sit? RW might as well dress 19 d-men for the amount of offense they'd get.

At this point, I just hope these guys can stay in the running long enough for Clowe's return. Maybe his grit will rub off on them.

One more thing... JR should be wearing the C. He's the only guy with the heart, the effort, and the mouth worthy to wear it right now.
