I know we didn't negotiate the Boyle contract, but you'll hear about this kind of situation occaisionally. Just a thought... Also, Clowe said he wants to stay in SJ, and his/his agent's comments kinda seemed like a hometown discount was possible. I feel like if we sign him, it's on the condition he stays because he has the leverage right now. Otherwise, he could drag his feet and get his rights traded or hold out for an offer sheet.
