It's only one game, but I look at Huskins, then a tryout like Dandenault, and say to myself- is one of this guys really worth $1.7M? The PK was really bad several times. One time there were three or four uncontested passes through the box. 5-on-3 maybe one or two happen, but 5-on-4? Unacceptable. Especially since the next pass after that was to Henrik uncontested in the slot. Agree 100% with Huskins. He made that one great move splitting the D off Blake's pass and then set up Mclaren for his goal. I credit Blake and Patty mostly for that goal. McLaren seemed the benefactor of Pattys skating on that one. I thought Petrecki looked pretty good but not much better than the rest. He had a couple good hits. Meh. Marleau did assist on both goals and wasn't on the ice for many of the low points for San Jose - so I guess you have to say he did well. Though in the Sharks defense, they were mostly Worcester-bound players against quite a few of Vancouvers NHL roster. I am with you on the Loprieno bandwagon.
