Inevitable that after a rosy podcast, the Sharks get thoroughly outplayed by the Wild. Good news: 1) Jones is back in form, he just needed rest. 2) The roster was without three starters. Sharks must get their top line & pp going, plus start Dell / rest Jones more often. Recently in the Merc PDB pointed out that the top line LW doesn’t need to be a sniper, but rather someone with offensive skill and a willingness to dig out pucks. I do expect to see Hansen start then if he is ever admitted to the US.

    * start there (on the top line)

If you were Vegas looking at the Sharks expansion draft options, would you select Dell?

Love the Sharks, but just don’t see them as a dangerous playoff team. Low scoring, poor pp, and slow. Vs the Preds, Hawks, and Wild the roster looked a step behind. I liked Hertl on the top line last year. I know they want strength down the middle, but Hansen doesn’t score as often.
