The dudes are back after a long summer absence, with, honestly, not a lot to talk about Sharks-wise.  Which generally makes for an entertaining episode.

Suggested topic: Which player that changed teams this summer should the Sharks have signed or dealt for? i.e. Drouin, Neal, Vrbata, Marleau

  2. Hector says:

The Sharks HAVE to make some trades for offense. You can’t dole out the 2 biggest contracts in franchise history, then miss the playoffs. The fanbase is too fickle. I’d offer sheet lexander Wennberg immediately. Very high ceiling, maybe a future #1 center. Makes Tierney a valuable trade option. Then hope Meier becomes the 20-goal scorer we need to replace Marleau. Suddenly, youth and scoring in SJ.

  3. James says:

The dudes are alive! I laughed so hard when the dudes sounded more excited about the alumni game than the Sharks season. I’ve been disappointed the Sharks added, um, no one. What are they waiting for – perhaps DW wants Sakic to blink and lower his asking price, then he’ll acquire Duchene? Sakic is asking too much for a guy who had 1 amazing year and has tons of defensive issues. In the tradition of Stamkos, this year’s pipe dream UFA-to-be is Tavares. The Isles better lock him up asap or it will be a distraction. Can you imagine what that contract will be? Yikes.

  4. Tom says:

If anyone is interested I started a private Yahoo NHL fantasy league. It’s open right now if anyone wants to join.

Live draft is Sept 22nd 7:00 pm.

Old school Dudes style… I opened it up to a group of guys from another online forum I am involved in, fyi.
