Man, I thought the offense was bad a week ago. Going into the Canucks game, the Sharks are 30th in the league in offense, yet 1st in D. That is crazy. They desperately need some scorers. The good news story of the season is indeed Heed and Ryan, but I agree with Doug – put Martin back in when he’s 100% and see if it sparks Burns, who they needs goals from. Seriously, is DW the worst GM in the draft? I can’t even count how many first rounders have been duds and Meier looks like he’s another. And to think we could have had Rantenen. Go Sharks!

  2. Tyler says:

Would like to hear the Dudes’ thoughts on the Duchene-Turris deal. Essentially, the Preds gave up the winger Neal (to Vegas), a couple of second-round prospects, and a second round pick for Turris, their new second-line center. I would make that trade any day. Pretty darn impressive, IMO. Now that they have an additional scoring threat, and a much improved second-line center vs last year, look for the Preds to start looking like contenders again.

  3. Matty says:

The O may be struggling, but there are lots of good 2-way players on the team and Jones is playing incredibly. If Pavs and Burns get hot, that will help a lot. The west seems pretty wide open. Anything can happen, which is exciting.
