    Have fun in India, Mike.

At Brian Elliot really does look like Patrick Roy these past few games, ehh?

Friday in Detroit should be very fun. Putting Detroit into their own 3 game losing streak would be quite a turnaround.

I also loved how quickly they quieted that crowd. It was especially awesome that they hadn’t even gotten to finish that stupid chant at Niemi. On the radio broadcast you can hear them just about to launch into “It’s all your fault! It’s all your fault!” when Pavelski scores.

  3. Tom says:

Heres what I think has been different from the sharks over the last few games.

    1. Antii Niemi. He hasn’t been spectacular, but just better than Greiss. Actually a .950 SV% is pretty damn good. Getting him back in net and on track has been huge.

    2.  Martin Havlat has been nothing short of awesome. He’s as advertised. And, as well as being a positive affect, he doesn’t slow down Couture and Clowe. And I’m not talking about speed here – it was pretty clear that Wingel’s and Mitchell just don’t have the same skill level as Havlat. That second line hasn’t seemed right until Havlat joined them.

    3. The Sharks stopped refusing to play north-south. I think this really broke in the Boston game. Boston pushed back so hard, I think it forced SJ to play their game which is a true north-south, getting pucks deep and cycling.

I noticed in this game the Sharks stopped pulling back on the rush. During the rush into the offensive zone they weren’t stopping along the boards and trying to pass east-west to the trailer coming into the zone. This usually ended up resulting in only one SOG and then a quick turnover.

During the Boston game they COULDN’T do this because of the tempo Boston was playing. It forced them to play the game Tmac wants. Which was get the pucks deep – cycle – and get traffic on front.

That’s their game and it looks like they’re sticking to it.

Matt d’Agostini currently leads the league in plus-minus. That is all…

    • Ian says:

That was a blast during the playoffs so next time I am actually watching a game live and not on the PVR (Stupid work) I’ll definitely join.

      • Cyoor says:

Yeah it was really nice. I might not join every time, since its in the middle of the night here in sweden when the games are played, but ill try and be there as often as I can 🙂
The more people that joins the more fun it is 🙂

So everyone join up the next couple of games. 🙂
