Love the vidcast/podcast concept, but I found it a little disturbing to see you sitting that close and staring at each other the entire time.
And you couldn’t even see what I was doing under the table.
Good pod cast dudes.
One point though. Apparently Bill Guerin was offered a tryout with Philly and was seen in their informal practices wearing a Flyers jersey this morning.
If Guerin only gets a tryout then I think Nolan isn’t getting any better.
I know the Sharks say their isn’t room for Nolan and he is asking too much. But I still contend that a tryout with SJ is mote likely than the other 29 teams in the NHL. Nolan would love to finish his career here and a camp tryout gives him the opportunity to prove he’s better than any of the other guys the Sharks could ice.
Nolan at league minimum after a good showing at camp, I think would be the only way he end up back on this team. I still think it’s very unlikely but also possible.
On top of your comments about a multi-sport environment, the answer to the “why can’t I get Sharks fans engaged on the ‘did you see that hit'” discussions is simple. Most of the teams play while we are at work, and local sports coverage of hockey sucks. So when, where, and how are we supposed to see these highlights? If we lived on the east coast it would be different.
A good point Left Field. Not everyone has/wants the NHL Network, which is the only quality daily source for consistent NHL coverage on television in the U.S.
