Free Tix to Game Tonight
December 17th, 2012, 1:37 pm
We will be at the game tonight, as I’m sure many of you. A loyal and generous listener has let me know that they have 2 tickets they cannot use, and will forward to the first person that emails questions at dudesonhockey dot com. See you there.

I thought they were going to tie it with about 6 minutes left then that slapstick, dekeing around the broken stick which had been shot at him, only to fall down and poke it it from a prone position goal against happened. GG
I feel like the Bulls O is generally fine for the most part, but the D is just silly-bad. I counted 10 horrible give-aways to a Stockton player at the top of the circle in just the third period alone.
Aside from that, enjoyable experience.
PS: The agencies who absorbed the free tickets to attempt to sell them should burn in fucking hell.
Couldn’t agree more about the scalping. People selling tickets for $50 a pop on Craigslist? Seriously? It seems that that is why it “sold out” in 5 minutes rather than a bunch of hockey-crazed fans trying to get their fix. I got the impression that people were just there to take advantage of a free night out. If tickets weren’t free, I wonder if they’d get more than a couple thousand people to show up.
True. I almost wish they charged a pittance for the tickets rather than nothing- studies have shown that if you give things away, people will treat those things, regardless of their normal value, as worthless. I can only guess this is the reason why 3000+ people didn’t show.
Additionally pisses me off because I know people that would have used those tickets.
worked out for us, my friends whom I had gotten tickets in the upper deck for came down to sit next to us in the 14th row. But yes, should have charged $5 or so and given every entrant something worth $5 would have been a better stratagem.
Merry hockeyless Christmas dudes. hopefully the New year will bring better news.
Bad enough that there’s no NHL hockey to watch this holiday season. But now we’ve lost the dudes as well. 1 podcast in the last month.
