Dudes, would you expose Boedker for the expansion draft? If Vegas takes him, could allow SJ to make a stronger offer to Marleau. I think the idea was Boekder would step into Marleau’s place as a top-6 20-goal scorer, with younger, faster legs and a cheaper contract. Hasn’t happened. Truth is, SJ doesn’t need Boedker.
Remember when the Dudes’ new year’s resolution was to find a day and record weekly?
Senator, I can neither confirm nor deny that such a conversation ever took place
I love this podcast. I’ve listened to several hockey podcasts and can’t stand them, even the “pro” ones. Doug and Mike are hilarious and right on almost all of the time.
I hope the Sharks are players at the deadline. They are a good team, no doubt. Good enough to win the division and a round or two. But not quite a cup contender. I think DW needs to show more confidence in Dell and also mix up the power play. As Mike has said, they go to the well on Burns at the point too often and it’s predictable. I’d consider Boedker trade bait. He is a speedy potential fifteen to twenty goal scorer on a good contract, but has not fit in with the Sharks possession game and two way play. I expected him to be a force on the second pp unit, but that group looks lost.
