Question: When Jumbo was announcing Macklin as the first pick, there was a Sharks fan screaming in the background. Did you find it amusing or obnoxious?
Michkov already in the country. How is Philly so good at getting Russians to come here? No one can blame Grier for not taking him because his situation was so unclear. But it’s going to be tough watching him light up the league for years knowing we could have had him.
I kind of liked Emberson. But I see the value of adding Ceci, even if his best days are behind him. Veteran leader on the blue line. Can log big minutes. He’s certainly a better player right now than Emberson. And he’s only signed for a year. From the Sharks’ perspective, they got a third-round pick and gave up nothing nothing because Emberson was claimed off waivers.

Neither I guess? Guy was excited, and he was polite enough not to yell over Jumbo when he was announcing the pick.
That Sharks fan perfectly encapsulated my excitement and, I’m sure, the excitement of many others as well. The guy is a legend.
