Great to hear from the two of you again! Listening now.
Hope you both are doing well!
Really hope you two can record again before the playoffs start
O, thank GOD the boys are back.
I have a proposal re suite with Dan Boyle…
How did it not occur to you? Upon seeing the news, you call an EMERGENCY PODCAST and tell the crew that 20 spots are open – $100ea and invite listeners to watch a game with you two AND DB22. I’m in!
A while back, we sat in the last row on the lower bowel and above us in the box were the Black artists that were invited for Black history month celeb. Damn they were fun! I want to have a fun night like that at the tank some time. MAKE IT HAPPEN!
and great pod this week – hope for more soon!
im stokked the boys are back!!!
we need MORE DUDES!
on hockey of coarse!
ok, look.
new idea for next show.
each of you take the salarary cap flex that we have next year, and show up to the pod with moves youd personally go for.
the idea is to not influence each other and then to see what team youd theoretically put together.
id give you my picks, but that would ruin the fun
The Walman trade is the only Grier move in recent memory that I have completely disagreed with. Grier has really deprioritized defense. A back-end first round pick will take years to make an impact on the team. Walman was an impact player right now. He was the Sharks’ best defenseman and only 29, with at least 3 more years of prime hockey ahead of him. You can see SJ’s defense has gotten even worse since Walman’s trade. They’re so slim on D that Cagnoni gets called up and immediately leads all D in TOI. Meanwhile Walman is averaging well over 21 min a night for the Oilers, a legit contender.
I went to see the Rangers pound the Sharks last night. In the 11 games that me and my brother in law went to this year, the Sharks lost every one. But at least we had fun watching the kids mature. And we can both now say that we were there when Cam Lund scored his first goal. Hoping that will be meaningful one day…
Praying for good news in the draft lottery and on to next season!
