New episode here. We did have some business to attend to in the Clowe signing and the Vlasic extension report, but the rest of the show was taken up with the trivial (trivia questions) and non-trivial (listener emails).

Not a bad move by DW in adding depth with Kaspar at .6M and Vesce. But going over the cap more only furthers McLaren’s odds of going. Problem is that we will need some depth at the blue line. You think Hedican will sign for .5? Me neither.
I think McLaren will likely be gone, which gives us a solid three pairing. The 7th will likely be either a Worchester Shark or a marginal NHL player- not a guy as good as Hedican. And that’s for exactly the reason you imply- too expensive.
Hey did Frankenstein re-sign? If so, there’s your marginal NHL player.
