   I actually don’t think the door is completely shut on Marleau, or another cheap veteran forward (Williams?). The Sharks very rarely promote true rookies to day-to-day roster spots, and we’re supposed to believe they will do that with 2-3 guys this season? Imagine Marleau remains unsigned until mid November. The Sharks get tired of auditioning different rookies, plus a forward gets injured. Patty at $1 mil would sound pretty good …
