Calen addison will rue the day that he didn’t give doug a fist pump.

Love the show guys. Good to have you back. Looking forward to the draft show BUT will there be a David Quinn firing show too? Only time will tell……

  3. James says:

The draft lottery is May 7. The Sharks can pick no lower than fourth.

“The Sharks can pick no lower than fourth.”

    25% chance of first
    12%(?) of 2nd
    55% chance of 3rd

we have the best chance of getting the first, but most likely we get 3rd? I hate math!

    Crazy idea.
Contingent on getting the first overall pick and Celebrini and Will Smith going to the NHL next year.
The sharks take a run at Stamkos and Kane to bring in veteran leadership and shift the culture in San José with some true pros who have won it all. They have the cap space they can give some term to those guys because the sharks don’t have to shell out real money for three years and then you have eklund feeding stammer and Kane on Celebrinis wing.
That still leaves money for the sharks to sign a D man.

I love Steve’s crazy idea dudes.. LOVE IT. At what point is that a bad idea.. 5mil and above? At 3 years or more?
Kane and Stammer would be so fun, but I’d like to see a short 1-2 year deal… which might be unrealistic. So which vets should they push to sign, and with all the cap space do you see the sharks facilitating another teams success (maybe ramps) whilst simmering for one more year in hopes of one more great batch of draft capital?

Hit me with music dudes!! Let’s go sharks!!

    • Mike says:

Honestly it’s a bad idea now at whatever price. You add two young guys that will take a couple of years to get good and two frankly past-their-prime stars, you have a borderline playoff team with a payroll. And a big problem at D, even if they find a guy. I’m struggling to a see a major upside here.

  7. Mudd correcting his beefy thumbs says:

    (Maybe ramps = Tampa bay)
