Between periods, the Sharks put up various groups that are attending the game that night, and we managed to grab a shot of this one.

Wasn't aware "alter boy" was a title

Uh, discuss.

Pretty cool a local kid actually has a shot at playing for the team he grew up for. I guess it happens all the time elsewhere but a first for SJ…!

  2. downRupLYB says:

Maybe he’s an Altered Beast in training… “Arise from your grave!”

  3. Tom says:

    I can’t make out the last word… ?

  4. Shrk2th says:

‘Deacon Turner, Fatner Chris T ‘?

  5. Cyoor says:

    What does it say?

  6. Tom says:

This just in!!! Chara’s left toe was actually raised two inches therefore – NOT a dirty hit. Also had this hit taken place in a ring full of nails they’d all be dead – therefore there should be a suspension…!!

I’m tired of the banter already 🙁

    • MJ says:

chara saw an opportunity and he took it. he may not have intended for it to be as bad as it was, but there was definitely some intent there.

careless, unnecessary play by Chara, who will be a marked man in MTL for the remainder of his life…..until he becomes a Canadien.

      • Tom says:

        Apparently you missed the sarcasm…

But thanks for demonstrating the insane and crazy b.s. that surrounds every injury from a hit now in today’s NHL.

    • Cyoor says:

This was obviously not a dirty hit, and not intended to hurt anyone, but rather the fault of the arena built as it is and some bad luck with the timing.
Rather then suspend Chara, they should rethink the placement of that glas with (maybe) to sharp edges as it is built now. more rounded corners and red marking so they are easier to see maybe?
