post 2013 – Where the Dudes Go From Here

Hello hockey fans and Happy No Hockey Year.A quick update to let you know what to expect from the podcast in early 2013 from your favorite neighborhood Dudes. We have decided to wait and record our first podcast of 2013 when the dust has settled for good on the NHL vs. NHLPA Battle Royale. At this point there are two possible outcomes, a 48 game season beginning in mid-January or Bettman cancels the season like Cop Rock.

The good news is, there’s only another week of this stupidity and then we’ll know what direction we’re headed in as hockey fans for 2013. The Dudes will hopefully be back soon with a mega-episode profiling the ins and outs of the new CBA and a 2013 season preview, or we will be moving forward with full coverage of the San Francisco Bulls and Worcester Sharks for the remainder of the hockey season.

Until then, fellow Dudes.

I just brought season tickets to the Bulls – so I vote for full coverage of the Bulls!

    GO BULLS GO!

Just in case you live under a rock… There is an awesome little tournament happening right now called the IIHF under-20 world championships. And our little team USA is playing for the Gold tomorrow morning after beating team Canada quite handily the other day. It’s been great hockey and a few Sharks prospects to watch too.

I’d love to hear a bit about that dudes on the next podcast if you so choose.

FYI the games are on NHL network in the US for anyone who is interested.

I think its a good Idea for you guys to take a break. There are no sharks news what so ever, and since this is the best sharks podcast out there, I would hate for you to get burnt out by the crappy “nothing is happening for yet another week” things.

Lets hope for the season to start again, and we get something real happening for a change! 🙂

Untill then, have a nice time and congratulations on the win today in the junior finals over us swedes. 🙂

  4. Tom says:

US wins gold at the U20 world championships and the lockout ends in a 24 hr span. That’s hockey Christmas – no – hockey Festivus!

Cyoor, condolences on your loss. You guys sure have a great team though. Winning silver after a gold is pretty impressive though too. I think at the end of the day John Gibson was just too good. It’s too damn bad he’s a Duck cause I have to hate him now.

We thought about putting out Jr. team in a series of stockades downtown Toronto and throwing perished produce at them but we thought sending the captain back to Edmonton was probably punishment enough especially since Kevin Lowe still runs the team.

Can’t wait to see the boys fly out of that giant shark head.

    • Ian says:

Oh and congrats to your respective squads for well earned medals.
