The Sharks are so bad the Dudes would rather talk about something else.

I was hoping you were actually going to talk about the Niners.

Glad Doug brought up Karlsson and Timo at the game. Between that, and the locker laughter, and how much of a hockey dad Marleau is, I feel there aren’t many competitors on this team. I imagine long contracts do that. They’re not hungry.

I suspect Gallant was fired because his tactics bordered on – or crossed the line – fitting in to the recent coaching controversy. The Sharks should hire him. He would cause a lot of the loafers to jump ship. They are so soft.

I don’t think it’s as far out of the realm of possibility that Babcock returns at some point. Not to the Sharks. But a desperate franchise like the Wild? What have they got to lose?

These midseason hirings of PDB and Boughner will not end well for either, which is not their fault. Sad to see such great coaches be set up for failure.

Ok I just read a lot more about the Babcock stories and maybe it’s not so likely he will ever get hired.

And yet his teams almost always go to the playoffs. I’m looking at you Minneapolis…

Recent Kurz article is spot on. Wilson + Core core = bad for a few years.

Most mock drafts I have seen place the Sens via Sharks pick between #3-#6. Probably highest Sharks pick in over 20 years.

    • James says:

Yeah but like the Dudes always so about firing a coach or GM, who is a better replacement for Wilson? Anyway, it’s clear from the recent organization statements Wilson will be around for the foreseeable future.
