I have two thoughts about this great episode.

First, it’s not just a top 5 pick, Pavelski, Tierney, DeMelo, Donskoi, Braun for “Erik the Great.” It;’s all of that for a non All-Star defenceman with a -9 rating misses 1 out of 3 games due to injuries (55 missed games in years 1 and 2 combined).

Second, please do not bring up the 2016 turnaround and cup final run. This is a completely different scenario.

  2. Taylor says:

Sharkiest Thing Ever: Jones is traded to the Avs. Due to injuries he plays and leads the Avs to the cup.

  3. Tom says:

Doug calls it on the button.

Doug Wilson gets extra value as usual. I like Goodrow but a 1st, even a low first is crazy. Tampa is in all-out win mode. Way to take advantage DW.
