First off, Doug, congrats on the addition. And thanks for the podcast despite the sleep deprivation.
I know we haven’t heard a ton from DP/Kurz over the past few months on James Sheppard, but how do you guys think he’ll fit into DW’s plans? I think it’s a safe assumption he’s tendered a contract as an RFA since we used a 3rd rounder on him. So under those pretenses, do you think he could prove to be a bargain on the 3rd or 4th line, especially with the cap under the new CBA projected to come down?
One other question: let’s assume the new CBA includes an amnesty clause similar to the NBA’s. Who would you use it on? I think I’d go with Handzus.
