Craig Custance, the NHL writer from the Sporting News (and new podcaster) joins the Dudes in starting the playoff coverage.  He talks about the top prospects, and the Sharks prospects in the soon-to-be playoffs.  Mike and Doug then continue those points in reading listener emails.

    Great job on the podcast, as the former Thrashers beat writer I would have asked Custance about Brodeur’s 600th win against ATL a few days ago. Atlanta didn’t look like an NHL team and could not even get the puck into the o-zone the last 5 minutes of the game. 5 Minutes! Kovalchuk to NJ was also kind of a shocker.

    Thank goodness (for now) that Detroit came on late against the Jackets. Looking like the Detroit/Chicago matchup on Sunday is going to be for all the marbles, seeding-wise.
