I don’t think Seto is that likely to get traded, I just think DW is waiting to sign him because he needs to figure out what the rest of the lineup (specifically the defense) is going to look like and he knows Seto wants to re-sign. I think Clowe is more likely to be trade bait.

What happened to Scotty at the end of that intro? Was he choking on his Stanley Cup rings?

    The intro: BRILLIANT!

I realize three way trades rarely happen…. But how about:

    Clowe(3.6m) to Boston
    Savard(4.0m) to Calgary
    Regehr(4.0m) to San Jose…

Boston gets a gritty power forward and loses 400k in cap. Calgary gets their top line center they want for Iginla. We get are true top pairing shutdown D.

Again I realize it’s pretty much rosterbation, but if we’re going to have to trade a top six forward in order to get a top pairing D, then I want a really good one. I’d take Regehr over Bieksa, Staal, or any other of the D men that have been rumored.

  5. PJ says:

That makes too much sense for all three teams to ever happen.
