    still not sold on jumbo wearing the c. if he needs it to play better, then he’s not worthy. he should be showing up every night regardless of what’s sewn on his jersey.

    I wanted to share an observation that I got from the Randy Hahn interview. When he talked about replacing Blake’s slot he described the Sharks needing a “puck moving D”, not a shutdown D like many Sharks fans are clamouring for. I also noticed that EJ Hradek said the same thing in your interview with him….

    While I tend to agree that we need the latter type of defenseman, I wonder if we have it wrong on what DW is actually looking for? I realize that he was reportedly in on players like Hamhuis and Mitchell, which would indicate that EJ and Randy are mistaken. But I find it odd that both guys said that. I wonder if DW really wants something different that we think the does or even if we are mistaken about what the team really needs?
