    Guys,

great podcast… and those insights on DW are very interesting and helpful to know… Maybe it will calm the fan base down regarding blowing up the team and trading everyone away for draft picks… Not that I’ve never been there, but it seems like DW put that to rest.

This was an outstanding podcast, guys. Too bad this stuff comes in the middle of the playoff push, as the DW insights and fantasy camp stories would be perfect for the dog days of the offseason. Then again, what felt like a 20 min podcast was double because of all the good info.

From what it sounds like, the money for the fantasy camp sounds like it is worth it. I may decide to do it someday, and maybe Jamie Baker will applaud me for my diving when in reality I am just a terrible skater 🙂

Mike, sounds like an awesome time, so jealous. The DW conversation offered up some interesting stuff for sure. Lets hope the Sharks run the table now. I have to agree with what Ruben said, if you guys had not mentioned you had run late I would have never realized it with out checking the play time. Great stuff.

Galiardi in, Handzus apparently out per Mark Emmons @ Working The Corners. This is the first time we should see the Sharks’s expected playoff lineup. I’m not expecting a beat down, because Anaheim is much better than their record, but a solid 4-2 would be nice.

Was there a rule against hitting in this game against the Ducks? Softest game of the year. Luckily this bullshit is almost over. This is the kind of game that makes me want to fire and trade the lot of them.

I will agree with you on one point – that the Sharks refused to hit last night… I’ve been bitching about that all season. I must have screamed that at my TV half a dozen or so times last night… and it’s even more maddening when watching this team lose…

Why they don’t put Katie Perry on his bum every time he tries to coast on into the crease from the outisde lane – by himself – when the Sharks even have him out-numbered – is totally beyond me…?!

Not much fight last night… At least they have another shot to get 2 points tonight.

      Fuck the Ducks.

Great podcast dudes. Sounds like the Shark for a Day was great fun. Congrats Mike on assisting on a goal and not getting taken down by Iafrate. Also, the insights into Doug Wilson’s management style is comforting (I’m of the same mindset, I don’t believe in blowing everything up and starting from scratch either).

I’d like to correct some information on the You Can Play Project that you made on the podcast. First off, it’s not a charity. The mission of the “You Can Play Project” is the following (taken verbatim from the website):

You Can Play is dedicated to ensuring equality, respect and safety for all athletes, without regard to sexual orientation.
You Can Play works to guarantee that athletes are given a fair opportunity to compete, judged by other athletes and fans alike, only by what they contribute to the sport or their team’s success.
You Can Play seeks to challenge the culture of locker rooms and spectator areas by focusing only on an athlete’s skills, work ethic and competitive spirit.

The You Can Play Project was founded by Patrick Burke to continue the dream that his brother Brenden had before he was tragically killed in a car accident in 2010. Tommy Wingel’s was the Captain of the Miami University RedHawks Hockey team when Brendan Burke was a Student Manager of the team, and apparently they had a close friendship.

I’d like to add that I made with my friend Gloria. It’s PSA for Sharks fans called “You Can Cheer” that was recently added to the You Can Play Project youtube channel. Basically we made it to make Sharks fans aware (and hopefully act on) homophobia in the stands
