have fun at the Bulls game! As for me, I’m having far too much fun watching the Giants stomp their way back through the NL league again to really care about hockey at this point… but thanks for the regular podcasts – they’ll help during the long winter without the NHL.
Hell no to the replacement players. To me, that’s the absolute worst case scenario. Pay the same price to watch inferior talent? Not a chance.
BTW – good times on Saturday. We moved to the top of the section after the first period because we had some friends there with their own tickets and there were plenty of open seats up there. I think the Bulls showed up the Sharks in terms of pyrotechnics. That was good stuff.
I have to echo the hell no on replacement players, There is no way that I would shell out money for center ice and stay up to watch games that start at 10:30pm to watch a bunch of guys wearing Sharks jerseys. I want NHL quality for my NHL buck its that simple.
No on replacement players, but I think that’s a function of us supporting the players and not the owners in this case. If we all felt the owners were being reasonable and it was the players costing us hockey we’d probably be a bit more inclined to watch replacement players as a way to show the actual players what we think of them.
