The Sharks (and perhaps Todd McLellan) are on the razor’s edge between complete failure and not.  They barely beat the hapless Avs, but there are some signs of life.

Dudes – With 2 young children, as soon as Doug mentioned his news, I was waiting for podcasts like this… If I tied to do a podcast, I’d be sitting in the car doing it on the phone as well!

Just wanted to pick you up on your comment about Burns maybe not coming back this season as the club was writing this off as a “transition year”.

If you are talking about a transition phase, then it would be more likely that this year would be viewed as the slamming shut of the window: the transition phase – which would be measured in years – not 1 year would then have to start next year.

Is there any was the Sharks will be competitive in the 2-5 year period, building the side around Burns?

I would play Irwin and sit Murray tonight. Why not?

I have to believe that DW has SOMEKIND of plan. Because I cannot think they are content sitting through the rest of this season watching this team play the exact same game over and over. I just want to save my hours at this point and tell the team to just go right to the shootout and decide it that way. This is getting old real fuckin fast.

What really scares me it that we usually hear about some kind of rumor being thrown around when DW is thinking about moves. They dont always end up being true but there is usually some indication that he’s thinking about a trade. These days – nothing! And it scares me to think that DW really does think this team is just gonna randomly pull it together.

    What a bag of shit.

So Clowe can’t skate, makes terrible decisions, and can’t really shoot. What can we possibly get for him in a trade? A 4th round pick?

    Has this podcast ended?
