The Sharks can’t win on the road, and lose to the Kings in 7 games.  The Dudes rank this loss against other playoff disappointments, pinpoint what the problems were, and preview the next round.  Remember this podcast continues, even in the offseason.

  1. MJ says:

sharks had no easy path to the cup this year. future rounds would have brought their demise, imo. even if they had won this round, pulled DET in the con-final….they’d still have PIT or BOS to contend with for the metal.

i hope sharks lose (and replace) all but one of their free agent forwards in the off-season. i would like to see torres re-sign, but will he(?). would that be a liability though? he’s one hard hit away from a half-season suspension (i’m being slightly sarcastic there…slightly).

on the back-end, giving demers his walking papers is almost a given at this point. i’d like to see hannan re-sign.

good luck next year, sharks. marleau and thornton futures will be the hot topic next season….if not in the off-season (again, imo).

    great podcast. thanks boys.
