The Sharks face their nemesis again, the Los Angeles Kings, in round 1.  The Dudes like the Sharks’ chances with home ice and a returning Tomas Hertl.

    I think Pavs’ 41 goals and 79 points on the 3rd line is a bad idea.

    I think Hertl is a pretty good approximation of Pavelski on that top line, he was on pace for 30-35 goals himself before he got hurt. With either Pavs or Hertl on that line, the Sharks should control play against the Richards line and will have their hands full against Kopitar’s line.

    But I want no part of James Sheppard matching up against Jarret Stoll, Dustin Brown, and Tyler Toffoli. Sheppard needs to be on a wing on the 4th line where his defensive issues are hidden and he can use his offense against weak competition. Pavelski centering Nieto, Wingels, or Torres (when he is full speed) is a much better matchup against that 3rd line.
