Sean McIndoe didn’t write for Down Goes Brown. He *is* DGB.

  2. James says:

Nice work dudes. I agree that Polak is adding some much-needed sandpaper. I love how the Keith play is being called “High-Sticking.” Um, no. There should be a separate category for plays like that called “Stick as Weapon.” Automatic 10 game suspension. I would have liked to hear you address the blog question from last week regarding Marleau’s possible return if traded this summer. Go Sharks!

  3. Rosevelt says:

Great you guys are posting more consistently. I think Keith is going to miss a playoff game or two. Concerned Vlasic is not even skating.

  4. Sharksfan says:

    Question,
Do the Sharks need a tuff guy?, or a tuffer guy for the playoffs? I seen Haley doing most of the sharks dirty work, but the Sharks always lack a little tuffnes. I am not saying a John scott or a pure fighter, but tuff power forward wouldnt hurt. This is too late now, but if the Ducks get ruff , who do we got to deal with perry etc. We have players that can hold there own, Thornton, Wingels, Ward maybe but you dont want to use your better players to dealing with the crap the playoffs bring.

we need a Torres/ Odgers/ Murrey/Clowe, a guy that can play, yet if he is off the ice for 5 mins ist not going to kill the team. does this make any sence

God that was horrible spelling … i am so sorry… you need a edit feature =)

  6. James says:

Reimer is sure making things hard for PDB. As a wise man once said, “Always ride a hot goalie.”

    • Sharksfan says:

I agree I like Riemer! its going to be tuff im sure they will give Martin Jones the benifit of the doubt and start him…. but Riemer looks good in the short time he has played with us.

    • Matty says:

Reimer currently has the best even strength save percentage in the league.

    • Havoc says:

Jones has been great all year and I think he’ll rebound from his recent struggles. But at this very moment, Reimer clearly gives the Sharks the best chance of winning. DeBour has a tough choice: look to the future and start Jones to give him playoff experience, or go with the red hot Reimer and potentially hurt Jones’ confidence. Personally, I think the West is wide open and a team with a hot goalie, great PP, and the ability to win on the road sounds awfully dangerous. So I vote, Reimer.

    • James says:

Solid game by Jones solidified he’s the playoff starter. It would have taken a pretty bad outing for him to lose his starting job.

The Sharks should relocate to the Eastern Conference for one year so they can make the Cup. It’s just ridiculous how deep the West is right now.

  7. Matty says:

To clarify: Reimer is tops in save percentage 5v5 since he joined the Sharks. And for the year has consistently been in the top 3 of goalies who played more than 35 starts. Pretty amazing considering he was with the worst team in the league.
