After an extended break, the Dudes are back, ready to talk hockey again. ┬áIt’s been such a quiet summer, so it will take a little while to get the engines revved up again for the coming season (and World Cup).

World Cup – WATCH the young guns – they are FAST and fun to watch. Hey, it’s hockey and it’s a LOT better than regular preseason games. SWE vs FIN are fun games to watch too.

Sure, the politics of the event is dumb, but it’s still hockey.

Andrei Nazarov, not Zyzuin … the KHL coach and ex shark who went crazy. Otherwise a good podcast. Glad to have you back.

It’s interesting, you guys seem to be getting different S365 invites than I am. I never got one for the pizza and skate. Instead I got an invite to go pull weeds at the rose garden’s in SJ (Seriously, I did, as a “benefit”). And this weekend I’m going to a Giants game. I also passed up an opportunity to go to some farm in the Santa Cruz area.

When the most interesting “benefit” is tickets to a baseball game (Zzzzzzzzz) it’s not exactly selling the whole program very well.

Dudes ! Worst. Hockey. Fans. Ever. You can’t get a little bit excited about watching the best in the world compete ? Okay, I’m having a little fun with you but after a whole summer off, some hockey beats no hockey by a long shot, In my humble opinion, it also beats MLB ( good for taking naps ) most NFL games, and waiting for the cooler weather to come. Seriously, as Hal said, the young guns are fun and fast. I watched their game against Team Europe and I started having flashbacks of this year’s Stanley Cup finals. Love the podcast. Keep it up.

I’m not interested in the world cup of hockey at all. Couldn’t possibly care less. Bring on the real thing when the NHL season begins.
