I’m confused by what’s happening with Bordeleau and Eklund. Healthy scratches? Perhaps SJ just wants them to get exposure to the NHL but will soon send them to the AHL.

It’s only been 1 game, but the team seems worse than last year. That could be helpful – we need a top draft pick.

    • Matty says:

The NHL made an exception for the teams in the global series and allowed them to have 27 players. Grier is making the right call and having Bordeleau and Eklund play in the NHL. I guess he just let them go to Europe to practice with the NHL club and hang around the guys. I agree with the Dudes, don’t want to see them on the Sharks unless they play their way on the roster.

  2. Matty says:

The Sharks are terrible and I love it. Deal Meier. Stock up on picks and prospects.

    Those jerseys are hideous.

  3. Scott says:

Never stop the podcast dudes. After all these years, you’re still the best.

And the Vegas draft was the least painful of all time. Zipped right on through it.

I’m enjoying the Sharks a lot more this season. With the lack of scoring, they’re gonna have to let Eklund in for a game or two – doncha think?

    • James says:

I hope note. I agree with the dudes – let them play on the Barracuda until they earn their way into the NHL. I don’t care if the Sharks set a franchise record for fewest wins in a season. (I think it’s 11 btw). A chance at Bedard and letting the young guys develop appropriately is smarter.

    • Mike says:

“least painful” could be the podcast motto
